GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands, March 31, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Spiking, which allows traders to find, follow, and mirror the trading activity of whales, today announced its partnership with Kryptono Exchange. The company’s token (ticker symbol: SPIKE) is scheduled to start trading on April 1, 2019. The news comes following months of anticipation from cryptocurrency enthusiasts and marks a large step forward for the dynamic blockchain project.

The launch will introduce a new era of token liquidity for SPIKE; the Kryptono Exchange is currently ranked at 49 globally (using Adjusted Volume) and marks the token’s debut listing on a high volume exchange.

The news follows the successful conclusion of Spiking’s Initial Token Offering, which sold out after a dynamic series of private and public sales rounds. The company’s private round was backed by notable institutions including CRC Capital, Fundamental Labs, Jove Capital, Mars Blockchain, and Quest Ventures.

“We are excited to enter the next phase of the history of Spiking, one that we view as a significant milestone for the cryptocurrency community. Not only are we strengthening our stake in the industry – we are also pushing industry adoption and awareness to the next level while allowing people to trade with the power of whales behind them,” said Dr. Clemen Chiang, CEO of Spiking.

April 1 has long been a significant day for tech companies. On this day in 1976, Apple was founded. In 2004, Google announced Gmail. Spiking is following in the footsteps of these two giants, having launched on April 1, 2016. Today, just three years later, our token, SPIKE, is listed on Kryptono Exchange. Cryptocurrency is the future, and we invite you to join the whales.”

Spiking is a FinTech trading app which already boasts a userbase of over 180,000 users who are tracking the stock market. By expanding its successful app to integrate cryptocurrency into its traditional line of investment products, Spiking is bringing a new awareness of cryptocurrency investment to hundreds of thousands of investors – and letting them trade with the power of whales behind them.

Spiking’s success in Q1 2019 is set to be mirrored again in Q4, when the company is scheduled to launch its own full-service cryptocurrency exchange. The exchange will bring together all of Spiking’s unique benefits, allowing users to make trades, mirror their favorite cryptocurrency whales, and more in one place. More details on this platform are set to be released in coming months.

“Cryptocurrency is still in its infancy, and Spiking is a part of the vanguard of this revolution,” added Dr. Chiang. “Our mission to bring the power of whales to the people, empowering them to make sophisticated investing decisions based on real-life moves from some of the industry’s biggest movers and shakers. With Spiking, this information is right at your fingertips.”

The Spiking platform’s use of blockchain asset validation in combination with AI means that users can follow whales and mirror their trades automatically; the platform’s use of smart contracts also allows for segregated trading accounts controlled directly by the user.

HANNOVER MESSE 2019: itelligence to Showcase Use Cases and Scenarios for Connected Industry

HANOVER and BIELEFELD, Germany, March 31, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — At booth E12 in hall 7 at the 2019 HANNOVER MESSE from April 1 to 5, itelligence AG is presenting concrete Industry 4.0 application scenarios in the fields of logistics, maintenance, analytics and production. At four different workstations the company is showcasing the numerous ways in which state-of-the-art IT solutions can be used to optimise industrial production and logistics processes, fully in keeping with this year’s slogan of the world’s most important industrial trade fair: “Integrated Industry – Industrial Intelligence”. The embedding of AI methodology in the management of value creation processes and the intensive analytical use of data sources of all kinds have a special significance here.

Norbert Rotter, CEO of itelligence AG: “Digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and the Internet of Things (IoT) have enormous potential in the industrial context and that’s exactly what we are showing in the concrete use cases at our booth. As one of the leading SAP consulting companies, we have been successfully supporting companies for many years on their individual paths towards digitalisation.”

itelligence and XERVON: intelligent networking with AI

At the 2019 Hannover Messe, the Bielefeld consultancy is demonstrating how digital innovations in analytics and maintenance can be used for process optimisation and quality assurance, taking its customer XERVON as an example. itelligence is supporting this international service provider for industrial maintenance as one of the winners of the “itelligence of Things” initiative which encourages German companies to start the digital transformation process with concrete projects.

itelligence is assisting XERVON with the conception and implementation of an intelligent industrial plant – based on self-learning algorithms. On water towers, for example, IoT sensors can be used to continuously collect data such as water pressure, temperature and vibrations caused by cooling equipment. This data is then automatically transferred and analysed in detail using ML. “Integration of ML enables large volumes of data to be automatically evaluated and interpreted. From this we get very detailed information about the current state of the plant”, says Gerhard Baier, Director Business Analytics and Information Management at itelligence. “Based on the results of this analysis, pump start-up and operating times can be optimised to reduce wear on the pumps. Electricity costs account for a large proportion of operating costs. According to an initial forecast, optimisation potential of six to nine percent is expected.

Optimised material flows in logistics with smart solutions from itelligence

Digital networking offers enormous optimisation opportunities also in logistics, in particular through the automation of logistics processes. At its booth, itelligence is showcasing its in-house development, the Logistics Bridge, which is a solution for Logistics 4.0 that can be implemented within a short time. The program not only enables logistics processes to be automated but also allows for seamless tracking of goods as well as constant product and data security. Not only are the goods automatically identified and tracked by the Logistics Bridge in combination with IoT sensors and SAP Leonardo, but every change of position is also automatically booked in the integrated SAP system as a change of status.

“The itelligence Logistics Bridge provides transparency in real time and therefore a seamless process and inventory overview as well as early detection of exceptional situations, such as delivery delays”, explains Wolfgang Möller, Global Director Discrete Industries & Internet of Things, and the itelligence contact at the fair. “In the company itself the itelligence Logistics Bridge can also be used to optimise the sequence of internal goods transport, while recording and monitoring inventory and asset flows outside the company. Overall, material flows within the entire corporate logistics operation can be reliably and transparently optimised.”

A small excursion into the application of long-range LoraWan technology in the supply and disposal logistics in conjunction with the precise analytical forecasting methods shows how huge optimisation potential can be achieved even with modest infrastructure investments.

Digital solutions for optimal production planning and control

Visitors to the fair interested in digital innovations in the field of production will be shown a cross-section of SAP solutions for the production planning and control at itelligence’s booth. For the mechanical engineering sector in particular, itelligence is demonstrating its fully featured it.manufacturing ERP system. With this smart industry solution, a wide range of requirements in mechanical and plant engineering are covered in a single application – complex production projects can therefore be reliably scaled and efficiently controlled.

itelligence is also using two events at the fair to present concrete insights into the wide variety of options that digital technologies have to offer industry. Solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) will be presented at the Expert Round Table event on April 3 at 6.45 pm in the Robotation Academy, together with cooperation partners HARTING and VDI nachrichten. Speakers include Philip Harting, CEO of the HARTING Technology Group and Norbert Rotter, CEO of itelligence AG. On April 2 at 11.20 am in Hall 14, Booth L19, itelligence will be giving a live demonstration of “RoboMe”, the world’s first management robot. “RoboMe” combines AI-based robotics with technologies for voice recognition and processing to take on day-to-day routine tasks independently.

machineVantage Announces Ten New Products Designed to Apply Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Neuroscience for Marketing, Product Innovation, and Personalization

BERKELEY, Calif., March 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — machineVantage http://machinevantage.com/, a company pioneering in delivering expert Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning-based solutions across multiple areas of business operations, has announced ten new products that are directly focused on driving innovations in marketing and new product development.

MachineVantage (PRNewsfoto/MachineVantage)

The ten new products are drawn from a new book, “AI For Marketing And Product Innovation” http://www.aimlinnovation.com/, co-authored by Dr. A. K. Pradeep, founder and CEO of machineVantage. Headquartered in Berkeley, CA, machineVantage works with major corporations that are global leaders across several consumer categories.

“Be it Product Innovation, Branding, Digital Marketing, and a host of other critical processes, companies are discovering that applying specialized AI and ML tools and methodologies accelerates and improves the effectiveness of these processes in several ways,” said Dr. Pradeep, a successful serial entrepreneur known worldwide for merging marketing with advanced neuroscience to create the phenomenon called neuromarketing. “Blending core learnings and best practices from consumer neuroscience with AI and ML systems enables the successful execution of algorithmically unearthed concepts. Knowing that 95% of consumers’ daily decisions are made in the non-conscious mind underscores the scientific validity and the commercial importance of this approach.”

The Ten New Products announced by machineVantage are:

1.      Trend Spotter
Extracting trends in the non-conscious minds of consumers provides opportunities for market leadership. Trends are extracted and tracked over time, across geographies, and across categories.

2.      Product Innovator and Market Sizer
Product design is a n-factor problem. This tool algorithmically identifies product and business model innovations that consumers’ nonconscious minds desire. The Market Sizer gauges expected market size algorithmically.

3.      Metaphor Extractor
Metaphors are the language of the non-conscious mind. The Metaphor Extractor algorithmically extracts metaphors connected to category, brand, and product to facilitate product and messaging innovation.

4.      Category Busting Metric (CBM) Extractor
The brain looks for a single number to differentiate products and uses price to differentiate by default if such a number is unavailable. The CBM Extractor algorithmically extracts from retail data ‘the metric that matters most’ for a category.

5.      Product Naming Engine
Product names trigger non-conscious associations with neurally-bound pre-existing concepts. The Product Naming Engine algorithmically extracts product names based on structured typologies and rank orders them based on their proximity to the product concept.

6.      Brand Personality Extractor and Tracker
Consumers’ non-conscious minds implicitly define a personality for a brand. The Brand Personality Extractor and Tracker algorithmically extracts the implicit brand personality, tracks its progress, and extracts messaging efficiency.

7.      Pricing and Promotion Model Selector
Pricing represents a way to attract and engage the non-conscious mind through apparent reason. The Pricing and Promotion Model Selector chooses the right pricing model based on category, brand, product, and competitive dynamics.

8.      Category Extender
Consumers’ non-conscious minds implicitly invite a brand to ‘do more’. The Category Extender algorithmically extracts categories that are adjacent in consumers’ non-conscious minds and thereby facilitates category, brand, and product extensions.

9.      Message Personalizer and Neuro Aligner
This tool personalizes sales, marketing, and digital messaging at scale. The Message Personalizer and Neuro Aligner algorithmically modifies messages to personalize to consumers based on demographic information, in real time. This product also aligns messages to best reflect how the brain prefers to process them.

10.      Call Center Script and Product Review Analyzer
The Call Center Script and Product Review Analyzer ‘reads between the lines’ of consumer articulations. This tool algorithmically extracts implicit issues, concerns, and innovations from the analysis of call center scripts, dialogs of focus groups, and product reviews.

Dr. Pradeep explains that trade spend optimization and personalization can be achieved through applying advanced neuroscience knowledge to ensure that all elements of a trade campaign deliver the desired results. Successfully applying the Pricing and Promotion Model Selector, the Category Busting Metric Extractor, and the Message Personalizer and Neuro Aligner results in Trade Spend Optimization.

Upon its launch “AI For Marketing And Product Innovation” was named by Amazon as the “#1 New Release in Business Management.” The book is available internationally in bookstores and on Amazon.com https://www.amazon.com/dp/1119484065/, barnesandnoble.com https://bit.ly/2swDvaR, booksamillion.com https://bit.ly/2slGbrH, and 800ceoread.com https://bit.ly/2SQ1jlg.

Beyond explanations of the science and technology behind AI and ML, and how companies can leverage them in virtually every aspect of their operations, “AI for Marketing And Product Innovation” also delivers forward-looking assessments of the new knowledge and skills that marketers will need to acquire, and how firms in categories such as consumer insights, product innovation, branding, and creative advertising will evolve.

2019-2020 Workforce Management Product and Market provides an in-depth analysis of the contact center WFM market, the competitive landscape, market trends and challenges, vendors, product suites, technology and innovation.

It provides an insightful analysis of how WFM is being re-engineered to meet the complex requirements of today’s omni-channel, virtualized contact center environments, consumers’ rising expectations and the demands of the modern workforce.

The report provides an analysis of WFM market activity as well as 5-year market projections. Six leading and contending vendors are featured in the Report: Aspect, Calabrio, Genesys, NICE, Teleopti and Verint.

The New Standard for WFM

Flex scheduling, agent self-service and adaptive real-time scheduling are the new standards of WFM. The WFM vendors are investing in delivering new and enhanced methods to improve the accuracy of forecasting and scheduling for omni-channel, multi-skill and blended environments. Many of these new algorithms leverage AI technologies and are optimized for each discrete channel.

Leading WFM solutions have re-imagined the traditional fixed-shift staffing paradigm and utilize flex scheduling, which empowers agents to create and manage their own schedule via self-service portals. Adaptive real-time scheduling is being used to address the intraday challenges of volatile demand and fluctuating resources. It re-forecasts intervals for the remainder of the day, determines the required skills and resources to address new projections, and automates the required scheduling changes to acquire or dismiss resources.

The WFM sector has undergone a dramatic transformation. The key differences between ‘old school’ and ‘new wave’ WFM are flexibility, mobility, enablement and automation.

The WFM market is performing extremely well, and is expected to continue to grow at a strong rate even though it is a mature market. This research anticipates that the WFM market will experience rapid growth over the next 5 years, increasing by 11% in 2019, by 10% in 2020 and 2021, and by 9% in both 2022 and 2023. However, it is possible that the rate of growth could be substantially higher if back-office and branch/retail implementations accelerate.

Report Highlights

WFM is addressing staff demands for work-life balance: Flex scheduling and self-service empowerment are enabling agents to achieve control over their work hours. This is a major shift in the WFM world, a sharing of power with employees, who now have visibility into and control of their schedules.

Adaptive real-time scheduling allows companies to address variances from planned activities during the workday: Companies require WFM solutions that are self-adjusting and able to adapt in real-time to changing conditions. Adaptive real-time scheduling automates the intraday management challenge. These solutions can identify service level nonconformance and can forecast and reschedule for the remainder of the day.

AI is playing an increasingly influential role in the future of contact center technology: AI and machine learning are being leveraged to improve scheduling accuracy and fairness. They also support predictive technology to address hiring, agent churn, and to predict timely completion of work.

The report includes:

Mareana Included in Gartner Research: Cited Among "Clinical Vendors Building Value with AI Technology"

PRINCETON, N.J., March 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Mareana today announced that it has been included in Gartner’s January 17, 2019 artificial intelligence (AI) research note, Life Sciences CIOs, Accelerate Clinical Development with New Applications of Artificial Intelligence, written by analysts Jeff Smith and Michael Shanler.

Founded in 2014, Mareana is a big data and advanced analytics company. Its proprietary technology platform, qSuite™, helps companies make better use of unstructured data, improve overall data interoperability, and create value from data through advanced modeling and analytics. qSuite™ is specifically tailored to industries and functions that deal with large amounts of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sets spread across multiple systems.

“We are honored to be included in this Gartner report,” says Christopher Knerr, Mareana Co-Founder and CEO. “We believe our inclusion in the research note validates the value-add of qSuite, our business orchestration platform that uses AI and advanced analytics to help companies create value from their unstructured data.”

According to the report, Gartner notes that enterprise professionals engaged in active AI initiatives cite “four major hurdles hold back the value of AI: 79% report ‘fear of the unknown’, 63% report an ‘inability to find a starting point’, 48% report ‘incorrect vendor strategy’, and 40% report ‘low enterprise maturity’.”1 Yet there are numerous benefits to developing and deploying AI capabilities including reduced clinical development costs and increased speed to market.

Education is the first step in developing a sound AI strategy. And much insight can be gained by researching AI use cases across industries. According to Gartner, “to categorize their readiness to deliver business value, Gartner divides industry use cases into four solution categories: conceptual solutions, emerging solutions, evolving solutions, and demonstrating solutions.”1 The research note says, “due to the wide array of AI technologies available, choosing the correct match for a business process — like safety signal detection or clinical trial risk optimization — is a major challenge.”

Beyond education, companies must match their AI strategies with their capabilities and access to subject matter experts. According to Gartner, “a common challenge CIOs face is that many users on the business side are not familiar with the varying technical requirements between AI platforms and applications. This makes moving from a proof of concept (POC) into production a challenge.”1 The research note further states, “Scaling from a POC to a large-scale rollout is commonly made difficult or impossible due to factors such as lack of appropriate IT resources and expertise, data quality concerns, and infrastructure and platform requirements.”

Mr. Knerr adds, “AI plays an increasingly vital role in clinical development. Today’s CIOs need well-vetted tools, and the support of external vendors, to move from problem identification through POC to full-scale implementation.”

We believe this supports the need for external support. The research report encourages CIOs to “consider building out a generic AI platform when there are multiple use cases with potential to provide benefit, and these benefits justify the investment. Leverage AI consulting expertise from the vendor ecosystem to accelerate POCs, evaluate and scale.”1 From data science staff augmentation to software licensing, the acquisition and integration of expertise from outside consultants can be the only difference between success and failure.
