The news comes as the firm recently launched new products and partnerships and continues its expansion in providing environmental, social and governance (ESG) data to investment managers.

As Chief Financial Officer, David Ron is responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic business plan, including raising private equity and managing finances to prepare the company for the next stage of scaled growth. Ron joins TruValue Labs from Krux Digital Inc., a leading data management platform. At Krux, Ron served as Chief Financial Officer, leading the company for four years from startup phase and through the M&A process to an $800 million acquisition by Salesforce. Prior to Krux, he held financial leadership roles in various firms such as Centaur Partners, where he was Director of Technology Investment Banking, and Rapt, Inc., acquired by Microsoft, where he served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. Ron received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and International Management at Boston University, and his M.B.A. from Suffolk University.

Dr. Stephen Malinak serves as Chief Data and Analytics Officer to lead the company’s quant research team and product development efforts to build out the product portfolio for expansion to new markets. Malinak, an industry leader in quantitative analytics, joins the TruValue Labs team from Thomson Reuters, where he spearheaded the company’s quantitative analytics offering, StarMine. He attended college at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Malinak went on to receive his Masters and PhD in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University.
