The new specialized unit expands the Second Step digital platform and provides districts with an implementation‑ready approach to addressing the growing role technology plays in students’ learning, relationships, and well‑being. Rather than focusing on specific devices, platforms, or rules, the Digital Well‑Being Specialized Unit helps students explore how digital experiences connect to and influence emotions, decision-making, accountability, and impact.
