List Recognizes Tech Breakthroughs Across Industries That Promise to Transform the Future

TEL AVIV, Israel, Nov. 17, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Adapt Entertainment, the first and only company to develop proprietary AI neuro-rendering technology (PLATO) to sync an entire movie’s original performance with a new language, revolutionizing the global entertainment landscape, today announced that it has been named to Fast Company’s second annual Next Big Things in Tech list, honoring technology breakthroughs that promise to shape the future of industries—from agriculture and environment to productivity and artificial intelligence.

This year, 83 technologies developed by established companies, startups, or research teams are highlighted for their cutting-edge advancements and potential to impact consumers, businesses, and society overall. While not all of the technological developments are available in the market yet, each one is reaching key milestones in order to have a proven impact in the next five years. Fast Company also recognized 41 honorable mentions.

Adapt’s goal is to broaden the global reach of content through enhanced storytelling alternatives that maintain the integrity of an original project without the need for dubbing or subtitles.

Adapt’s groundbreaking technology was used to successfully convert Maciej Barczewski’s “The
Champion” into an English language film from its original Polish and German languages. The new Adapt version of the film was released in the U.S. earlier this year. Barczewski called this technology a “game changer.”

Adapt was founded by Darryl Marks. His idea for an industry-altering technology was turned into reality with the help of his partners, the Emmy-nominated Dr. Mike Seymour, and AI-veteran Dr. Hao Li, founder of Pinscreen.

“Seeing an idea become fully realized by our team was amazing, and being recognized for this achievement makes it that much more special,” said Marks. “As we continue to grow and develop partnerships with artists and creators, our goal is to have a real impact on the future of how international content is consumed.”

“Technology breakthroughs and cutting-edge advancements promise to be the solution to some of the world’s most pressing issues. Fast Company is excited to highlight some of the organizations, of all sizes and industry backgrounds, whose technology advancements today will lead to a better tomorrow,” says Brendan Vaughan, editor-in-chief of Fast Company.
