San Jose to Host LocWorld41 — Conference examines challenges of going and being global

SANDPOINT, Idaho, Oct. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Seven hundred global business executives from around the world are expected to attend this fall’s LocWorld conference in San Jose, November 6-8.
The conference, which features multiple tracks with beginner, intermediate and advanced topics, has a special focus on going and being global.
LocWorld brings together delegates who are engaged in the business of adapting products, services and communications to an international language or culture so as to appear native to that particular region. Speakers at the conference include representatives from Amazon Web Services, eBay, Expedia Group, Facebook, Google, GS Capital, Indeed, Microsoft, Philips, Pinterest, Salesforce, SurveyMonkey, VMware and many others.
The conference, produced by MultiLingual Computing, Inc. and The Localization Institute, will be held at the Fairmont San Jose.

The keynote will be delivered by Vitaly Golomb, a mergers and acquisitions and venture capital expert. Vitaly founded three technology and services companies, served as a mentor to a dozen global startup accelerators and business schools, contributed to TechCrunch and authored the best-selling book Accelerated Startup.
The preconference day will include a workshop on globalization from startup to enterprise, an introduction to localization, a sales and marketing round table, a session on evaluating source content and a session on globalization.

A Process Innovation Challenge will be held and shortlisted process innovators will pitch their innovative process ideas to a panel and the audience who will vote for their favorite. The top one will be named the LocWorld Process Innovator for North America 2019.
