DALLAS, March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Academic Partnerships (AP), a global leader in assisting universities grow their student enrollment and revenue, today announced that it is expanding the capabilities of Data Raven, AP’s technology-based recruitment and service platform, to provide a broader set of capabilities and services to its partner universities. The move is at the core of AP’s strategy to pivot from an Online Program Manager model to a more diversified Enrollment Growth Partner that meets the increasing needs of universities.

AP’s Data Raven was initially focused on the use of algorithms to target audiences of prospective online adult students through various marketing channels. Now, Data Raven capabilities are being upgraded and expanded with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, to tackle a broader array of institutional needs, including the recruitment and retention of students in both online and campus-based programs.

“Enhancements to Data Raven allow AP to better help institutions address a broader range of their strategic priorities while augmenting the student experience,” said Rob Ganji, chief executive officer and vice chairman of Academic Partnerships. “Data Raven will assist our partners improve their customer-centricity through new process solutions and technologies that are now being tested by AP and its sister organizations in Europe, Latin America and Africa,” Ganji said.

While most consumer companies have advanced rapidly in their use of AI to improve customer experience, reduce prices, increase efficiency, and expand their customer base, higher education has not fully utilized AI to enhance its services. A recent Campus Computing Survey of institutional technology leaders found that only 13 percent were “very satisfied” with their current analytics tools.

As a new generation of students knocks on the doors of colleges and adults increasingly go back to school to upskill for new challenges in the workplace, universities need to prepare to cater to this much more diverse and tech-savvy population to meet its needs and expectations. Data Raven aims to help university leaders address this new reality in the rapidly evolving higher education market in which nontraditional students are in the majority and traditional ones are harder to find.

AP plans to roll out several new initiatives in the coming months, with Data Raven at the core of these new approaches. The majority of AP services powered by Data Raven will be available, in most cases, at no charge to AP partner universities.
