Lotus – The Calming App isn’t the only unique use of chatbot technology. Recently David Attenborough endorsed a climate change chatbot called “Act Now.” Undoubtedly, innovations with chatbots will yield more innovative applications like Lotus and Act Now.

When asked what the chatbot can help the user do, Foxhound replied that the possibilities were truly endless.

With the app, users can ask to help find their “zen.” They can also ask for wise quotes or meaningful lessons about forgiveness.

The user can use Lotus – The Calming App to take a step back, calmly chat with a friendly AI, and ask for some age-old wisdom.

“Essentially, Lotus is about the user feeling safe and getting a feeling of motivation or calm,” Ms. Carter explained. “You can ask Lotus for quotes to make you feel happy or simply chat with her about nothing. It’s completely up to the user.”

The benefits of using an app to meditate on quotations and process emotions may be innumerable. Taking time out for oneself is shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and frustration as well as alleviate sleep and mood problems.
