Ryan joins MIT’s FinTech@CSAIL initiative as founding member to support development of next-generation financial technologies

DALLAS, Sept. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Ryan, a leading global tax services and software provider, today announced its participation in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (FinTech@CSAIL) program, which is a three-year initiative to advance technologies in the financial sector. This exclusive innovation lab includes the world-class MIT CSAIL faculty who have pioneered the fields of secure computation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and risk management.
CSAIL is the largest research laboratory at MIT and one of the world’s most important centers of information technology research. CSAIL is home to almost 1,200 people, more than 900 active projects, 56 research groups, and over 600 students. Ryan and FinTech@CSAIL will work together with the highest authorities in these fields of study, and representatives from other participating companies, to leverage innovation from cutting-edge research to address relevant business problems in the financial industry and beyond.
