More Than 200 Attendees Across the U.S. Gathered to Discuss How Young Professionals Can Thrive in the AI Era
NEW YORK, May 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — BTM Group and Acre NY Realty successfully hosted the career event in New York City under the theme “Thriving in the AI Era: How to Stand Out as a Young Professional,” bringing together entrepreneurs, international students, corporate leaders, and young professionals from across the United States for discussions on artificial intelligence, career growth, and the future of work.
The summit attracted more than 200 attendees, including participants who traveled from Seattle, Illinois, and other states. The event featured keynote discussions, industry panels, and networking sessions covering finance, technology, entrepreneurship, arts and humanities, and leadership development.
The keynote discussion was moderated by Cathy Huang, CEO of Acre NY Realty, and featured David Rodríguez, US Product Lead at Moomoo; James Cheng, Global HR and DEI Executive at Zimmer Biomet; Xi Chen, NYU Stern Professor of AI and Machine Learning; Gregory Bitterman, Partner at BTM Law Group; and Yate Liu, entrepreneur and self-made multi-millionaire.
Speakers discussed how AI is rapidly reshaping industries and lowering traditional barriers across sectors. Several panelists noted that AI tools now allow individuals to operate with the productivity of entire teams, while communication, leadership, trust-building, and emotional intelligence are becoming increasingly valuable as AI automates technical tasks.
The summit featured four panels covering finance, technology, arts and humanities, and entrepreneurship. Across all discussions, speakers returned to three key themes:
- AI cannot replace human trust
- Communication and people skills are becoming more important
- Young professionals should view AI as a tool for growth rather than fear
Networking sessions remained highly active throughout the evening as attendees exchanged ideas, career advice, and professional connections.
The event was supported by organizations across finance, education, healthcare, recruiting, insurance, and community leadership, including Moomoo, We Education, MyJobTank, Fantuan Delivery, RLN Dental, and ISO Insurance. Special thanks were also extended to NAAAP New York and Asian American Dream for supporting leadership development and professional networking opportunities for Asian American communities.
Cindy Zhang, CEO of BTM Group and the main organizer of the event, shared her thoughts: “At BTM Group, we understand that many international students and young professionals feel uncertain about the future. For the past 25 years, we have continuously hosted events like this to support international students and help young professionals build confidence, connections, and long-term opportunities.”
“As someone who was once an international student myself, I understand how overwhelming this rapidly changing world can feel,” said Cathy Huang, CEO of Acre NY Realty. “I hope attendees left with new ideas, stronger connections, and greater confidence about their future.”
