ATLANTA, April 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Open Opportunity Fund, a venture capital firm investing in B2B software companies, announced today that Nancy Torres has joined the firm as Senior Vice President of Value Creation. In this newly created role, Torres will lead value creation initiativesacross the firm’s portfolio, supporting founders with operational strategy, growth acceleration, and organizational scale.
Torres brings over a decade of experience spanning business operations and finance with high-growth technology companies. She most recently served as Venture Partner at Visible Handsand Partner at Ulu Ventures. Previously, she held roles at Goldman Sachs in Technology Investment Banking, Uber in Business Development, and Google as a Data and Research Analyst. Across her career, Torres has helped software and internet startups scale, advisingfounders from seed-stage to IPO and driving multi-million-dollar partnerships and transactions.

Torres holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was recognized as a Toigo Fellow and MLT Fellow. She also earned a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, as a Center for Public Leadership Fellow. Her undergraduate degree in Business Administration is from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a Kauffman Fellow and the co-founder of the Latinx MBA Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting over 2,000 Latino business leaders across the country.
