Water Tower Research (WTR) Adds Brian Gordon as Senior Research Analyst

Water Tower Research is pleased to announce that Brian Gordon will join the firm as Senior Research Analyst.

Brian Gordon has been an analyst, founder, business strategist, researcher, and academic for more than 25 years. After beginning his career as a researcher in neuroscience and cognitive science, he worked in fund and equity research at Raymond James before getting a PhD in business strategy and innovation, after which he has spent more than a decade working as a consultant in the technology startup space with BRGordon Partners and system2 advisors and co-founding several venture capital-related businesses/initiatives, while continuing to actively engage in academic research in strategy and innovation and related areas. His peer-reviewed academic research has been published in the Academy of Management Review, R&D Management, and in edited collections. He has presented his research at numerous academic conferences and has also published on blockchain with the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at the Judge Business School at University of Cambridge.

Brian has a BA from the University of Michigan, an MA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a PhD from Simon Fraser University. He was a Visiting Scholar in the Dept. of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah and for the past seven years, a Research Fellow at the School of Engineering at the University of California, Merced.
