FYI Resources welcomes appointment of IHC Mining for rare earths project

FYI Resources Ltd (ASX:FYI, OTCQX:FYIRF) MD Roly Hill tells Proactive the company’s acquisition target – Minhub Operations – has partnered with international engineering giant IHC Mining to spearhead initial test work and engineering studies for the proposed mineral processing plant at the Minhub Rare Earths-Zircon Project in the Northern Territory. IHC has been appointed to manage project studies and undertake metallurgical test work, process flowsheet design and detailed engineering. The testing and studies will initially consider the processing of three third-party mineral sands feedstocks (monazite and xenotime) which contain significant rare earths.
