Ms. Cook brings global experience in leading lifecycle product management, end-to-end supply chain expertise, and driving digitization and transformational change

CAMPBELL, Calif., March 16, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Bruviti, the leader in AI-powered predictive service applications, has appointed Melanie K. Cook, the former chief operating officer of GE Appliances, to the company’s board of advisors. Ms. Cook retired as COO of GE Appliances in January 2021 after a successful 26-year career. As COO, she was responsible for operational excellence across supply chain and digital technology, and led the organization through significant growth and digital transformation.

Ms. Cook managed three full profit and loss centers during her career: president of Azdel Inc., GM of GE Industrial Communications, and GM of Cooking Products GE Appliances, a multi-billion consumer goods division.

“We’re extremely pleased to welcome Melanie to the Bruviti advisory board, and we’re looking forward to collaborating with her to enhance the value we deliver to our customers,” said Andy Chinmulgund, Bruviti’s chief executive officer. “Melanie has deep experience in the appliance sector and will help us innovate and optimize our services for both consumers and commercial users. As well, her knowledge of lifecycle product management, supply chain innovation, and digital transformation will be invaluable as we broaden our reach across other vertical markets.”

“Equipment manufacturers are striving to deliver excellent customer experience for product lines that are increasingly complex. This represents a challenge for servicing teams, which are embracing the latest digital technologies, fused with expert AI, to maintain uptime and deliver customer value,” said Melanie Cook. “Bruviti is well positioned to address these needs, and I am looking forward to supporting its growth.”
