The inaugural Black Business Ventures Association (BBVA) Milestone Report highlights BBVA’s commitment to bridging the gap between the Canadian technology ecosystem and Black founders and entrepreneurs. The 2022 Milestone Report showcases the “Black founders and entrepreneurs should be in tech” philosophy.

EDMONTON, Alberta, Nov. 1, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Black Business Ventures Association (BBVA) is on a mission to pave the way for aspiring Black founders and entrepreneurs to make a massive impact in the business and tech innovation ecosystem. This report discovers key insights and milestones from our research surveying working over 270 emerging Black tech-enabled startups and businesses.

Since the organization’s founding in 2020, BBVA has laid the groundwork for future growth for Black founders and entrepreneurs in the Canadian Prairies to build a world-class business venture. BBVA has significantly impacted over 190 businesses and connected them with the larger tech ecosystem for continuous support and integration.

We recognize advanced technology is transforming businesses, and BBVA engaged and inspired Black founders and entrepreneurs to be at the forefront of this new shift in the global and digital economy. This report shares our proudest achievements have been a catalyst for our founders and entrepreneurs to create purposeful and viable startups and businesses.
