Developer of Revolutionary Mobile Data Collections and Analytics Software Raises over $1 Million
Irvine, Calif. – March 7, 2022 – ModeOne Technologies, Inc. (“ModeOne”), the developer of a revolutionary SaaS tool to help litigation services providers, law firms, corporations, government entities, and law enforcement agencies automate the remote collection and analysis of mobile data stored on smartphones, announced today that it raised over $1 million to complete its Seed Funding round.
ModeOne was founded by Matthew Rasmussen, a litigation support and technology expert with two decades of experience working at large, global law firms and leading litigation services companies. Mr. Rasmussen, who serves as the company’s CEO and president, was inspired to launch ModeOne to address the many challenges associated with traditional methods of collecting and analyzing digital data stored on mobile phones and short-message chat applications. He and the attorneys he supported grew frustrated with slow, labor-intensive service delivery and extremely high cost. There had to be a better way. In 2018, he personally made a material, initial investment in software development to transform the way digital data is collected from devices run by iOS (Apple) and Android mobile operating systems.
The Seed Round capital was raised from a trio of investors including David Marroso, Esq., a senior litigation partner with prominent law firm O’Melveny & Myers; Dr. Andrew Langroudi, a leading foot and ankle surgeon and sports medicine specialist; and Gregory Mazares, a senior executive with over 30 years of experience in litigation services and technology.
“I am extremely excited to partner with David Marroso, Reza Langroudi, and Greg Mazares and I’m very grateful for their confidence in me and the company,” said Rasmussen. “Their substantial investments in ModeOne will allow us to complete our global launch in 2022. We will use the funds to hire key management and client service personnel, execute marketing and communications strategies, and complete priority product enhancements.” Mr. Marroso, Dr. Langroudi, and Mr. Mazares will each serve as members of the company’s Board of Directors. Mazares will also serve as ModeOne’s Executive Chairman.
