It was found that those who had caffeine before the workout, rode the bike better and faster than those who didn’t have any caffeine.

In another research published in the International Journal of Sports Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism, it was found that coffee enhanced fat-burning in the participants who consumed caffeine as a pre-workout and burnt 15 percent more calories than those who consumed a placebo.

It was also observed in this study that coffee when taken as a pre-workout increases the energy and enhances the performance of athletes.

Coffee is also a natural substance. This means that it can be consumed without any artificial flavors and sweeteners, and of course, will have a better effect on people. However, the amount of consumption of the same depends on the individual and his body type.

Overall, studies and experiments show that coffee is quite a good pre-workout supplement.

Since the workout is pretty similar to athletics, an enhanced and improved performance only adds to the strong muscles.
  1.     Lower risk of diseases – Coffee is known for containing a high number of antioxidants, which protects against the damage from free radicals. Thus, it shares an inverse correlation with diseases, such as diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, and cancer in various forms.
