Impact Advisors Hires James McHugh

CHICAGO, May 4, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Impact Advisors, a leading provider of strategy, performance excellence, revenue cycle management, ERP, implementation, and technology consulting services to the healthcare industry, announced that James McHugh, FACHE, has joined its senior leadership team. He will lead efforts to expand the Revenue Cycle practice and the digital offerings in the broader Performance Excellence service line.

McHugh has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry and has demonstrated success in building and growing technology-based Revenue Cycle consulting services. As the co-founder and former managing director of McKinnis Consulting Services, McHugh brings a proven track record of building successful businesses and delivering high-quality client results. McHugh is joining Impact Advisors from Guidehouse (f/k/a Navigant), where he led the Revenue Cycle business unit and subsequently created and led the Healthcare Innovation and Digital Optimization Team (HIDOT).

As a sales and delivery leader, McHugh led many of McKinnis’ largest accounts and was the administrator of the business that grew from three consultants to more than 75 professionals at the time of its acquisition by Navigant in 2016. Upon acquisition, McHugh was trusted to lead the joint Revenue Cycle business unit and was responsible for integration efforts. As a leader in technology and innovation, he created and drove solutions focused on automation, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in both revenue cycle and clinical optimization.

McHugh has a Master of Business Administration in Health Administration from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago. McHugh has been designated a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on the Quinlan School of Business Board of Advisors at Loyola University Chicago.
