PHOENIX, April 1, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — CampusLogic, higher education’s leading student financial success platform, today announced that its VirtualAdvisor and StudentForms products were named 2020 SIIA CODiE Award finalists in the categories of Best Emerging Education Technology Solution for Administrators and Best Administrative Solution, respectively. Award finalists represent applications, products, and services from developers of educational software, digital content, online learning services, and related technologies across the PreK-20 sector.

CampusLogic’s VirtualAdvisor is a digital financial aid assistant powered by artificial intelligence (AI) that answers student questions 24/7. More than a chatbot, VirtualAdvisor can authenticate users, weave together data from multiple systems, and provide accurate, dynamic, multilingual answers to student questions. With SMS/text message capability, students can reach personalized financial aid help from anywhere they are—without a wait.

StudentForms is a web-based service that allows higher education institutions to convert paper-based financial aid application processes to self-service collection of data, cutting down on confusion and time needed for iterative tasks. From the FAFSA verification process, to PJs, to SAP appeals, StudentForms makes paperwork digital and mobile, while automating the collection process. Customized workflows, personalized forms, and guided steps create easier, more efficient experiences with less errors. StudentForms enables more students to get financial aid, moving institutions toward ensuring true student financial success.

“CampusLogic is honored to be recognized as a SIIA CODiE Award finalist for VirtualAdvisor and StudentForms,” said CRO Allison Duquette. “We are on a mission to help schools change lives and empower student financial success, and by developing software that can streamline and simplify processes, improve communication, and help financial aid professionals meet students where they are, we are paving a path that facilitates better access to higher education and more opportunities for students to complete their programs of study.”

Acknowledged as the premier awards program for the software and information industries for 35 years, the SIIA CODiE Awards are produced by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software, education, media, and digital content industries.

VirtualAdvisor and StudentForms were honored out of 157 finalists across the 35 education technology categories.

“We are thrilled to unveil the 2020 CODIE Award finalists, the best in education technology,” said SIIA President Jeff Joseph. “These exciting innovations are setting the pace to improve outcomes in education for students, educators, and administrators.”

The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry’s only peer-reviewed awards program. Educators and administrators serve as judges and conduct the first-round review of all education nominees. Their scores determine the SIIA CODiE Award finalists and account for 80% of the overall score. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products. The scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners.

Education Technology category winners will be announced during an online winner announcement celebration May 19, 2020
