The PMI declined by 2.6% to 107.9 to finish the third quarter of 2019. Monitored secondary patent assignment transaction volume similarly decreased to 1,949, a 2.2% decline over second quarter 2019 results. Despite the PMI and secondary transaction volume declines, the quarter ending numbers represent the highest activity range over the last 3 years. “We expect the PMI and secondary transaction volume to remain in the present activity range over the next two quarters,” remarked Michael Lubitz, Founder and Managing Director of GTT Group.
