AURORA, Ohio, Aug. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — RoviSys, a leading independent provider of comprehensive process automation, systems integration, and building automation solutions, is pleased to announce the promotion of two team members to execute its growth plan. John Vargo to Director of Manufacturing Execution Systems/Digital Supply Chain, and Bryan DeBois to Director of Industrial Artificial Intelligence (IAI). These new divisions capitalize on existing strengths and position RoviSys for continuous growth.

“During the last thirty years, RoviSys has expanded capabilities to cover vital aspects of our clients’ operations.  As we add and diversify services, the value we offer increases exponentially,” said John Robertson, RoviSys CEO. “The next 30-years will bring a rapid increase in the technologies, capabilities, and skills to the market. Maintaining growth through good leadership is at our foundation, and it’s a pleasure to add Manufacturing Execution Systems / Digital Supply Chain (MES/DSC) and Industrial Artificial Intelligence (IAI) directors to our leadership team.”

John Vargo began his career at RoviSys as a software engineering co-op. He has worked across various industries and supported the launch and growth of a North Carolina office. In 2012, John became a Group Manager. Since 2014, he has played a key role, as the leader for MES deployments at multiple sites for large food & beverage manufacturers. In addition to helping land large scale projects, John has developed strategies to streamline MES solution delivery. In his new role, John will enable RoviSys customers to improve their business results by connecting the shop floor with top floor decision makers, supporting supply chains and delivering smart factory concepts. This promotion accelerates ongoing expansion for RoviSys into new market segments. “We’re excited to increase the value of services we offer to customers,” said Vargo. “As organizations look to connect their entire supply chains, RoviSys is a partner who can improve manufacturing operations, provide innovative options for real-time insight, and support the decisions business leaders must make to stay competitive.

Bryan DeBois joined RoviSys as a co-op and began his career as a software developer.  He became Software Group Manager in the Global Business Solutions division in 2013 and has been responsible for new and ongoing historian, MES, and industrial data initiatives with key RoviSys customers. In his new role, Bryan will be responsible for growing data analytics solutions, including machine learning, artificial intelligence, and operational data management strategy. RoviSys customers will gain an industrial data partner versed in decision support systems that improve efficiency, quality, compliance and best practices. “Improvements coming from AI will require massive amounts of data, “notes DeBois. “Organizations may want to start on their AI journey today, but it’s vital that they look at their industrial data strategy as the foundation of any AI solution.”
