CHICAGO, March 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Today, Chicago-based technology firm DashPing launched their latest workflow automation software. DashPing is a freight and communication management platform that helps corporations automate freight management tasks, reduce costs associated with supply chain disruptions and improve customer service levels.

Operating DashPing for cloud based users is simple. Shippers, 3PL’s and Freight Agents create a “Ping” by entering their shipment details in to the system. The systems AI schedules all pickup, in transit and delivery tracking tasks, manages communication between all parties involved in the transaction and makes shipment crisis management decisions in real-time. All shipment status updates and alerts are automatically sent to the user; greatly reducing or completely eliminating the need for manual interaction with dispatchers and drivers. For companies that integrate, DashPing plugs in to legacy management systems as a back-end service and swiftly adds intelligence and automation to their current workflows. Once a shipment is assigned to a vendor, DashPing begins to automate freight management tasks associated with that shipment and allows companies to keep all activity within their own system.

Co-founders Michael Schreiber, Brian Levert and Michael Logic™ were some of the first to introduce the digital freight brokerage/marketplace model to the logistics industry with the launch of DashHaul in 2013. By developing algorithms focused on automating every day operations they were able to reduce the number of daily hours they spent on time consuming manual tasks like freight matching, vendor communication and shipment tracking. This automation created repeatable workflows which lead to a sustainable reduction in operating costs for their company.

While operating their 3PL and collecting industry data for the past 6 years, the founders saw a unique opportunity to create DashPing from experience. “The success we’ve had with this model at our own logistics company has allowed us to develop a product that corporations can use right out of the box with no disruption to their current operations.” said Michael Schreiber, CEO and Co-Founder of DashPing. “Our technology is designed to help organizations automate manual workflows and increase the value of data their current systems collect so they can free up their staff to work on more value-creating initiatives.”

CTO of DashPing Michael Logic has set course to increase DADDI’s intelligence in the next version of DashPing by applying his patent pending ‘methods and systems for machine learning’. “Our software goes beyond the mobile freight tracking apps that you see in the market today. Automated freight tracking is just one component of DashPing” stated Michael Logic. “As our AI learns from DashPing user data, it will become a “Super Assistant” at the finger tips of every supply chain professional. We’re excited about the possibilities.”
