ACEDS’ new eDiscovery Executive Certificate (eDEx) training program offers legal professionals — attorneys, IT professionals, paralegals, litigation support, security, privacy and information governance practitioners — access to the self-paced, online E-Discovery Essentials course augmented by educational lectures on emerging issues. No degree is required to take the course.

  • E-Discovery Essentials: This introductory course, relevant for people entering the eDiscovery field as well as those wanting to broaden their knowledge, provides 12-plus hours of interactive online training and continuing legal education credits (CLE) in many states.
  • Lecture Series: This series encompasses a breadth of eDiscovery topics such as the importance of doing trial technology correctly, the future of eDiscovery in the context of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, ethics and social media in court and creating forensic protocols.
  • Certificate and Digital Badge: Those who successfully complete the course and online 100-question knowledge-based exam will receive an eDEx certificate and digital badge to share.

“As the eDiscovery landscape continues to shift, we are continually reassessing our training and resources to ensure we are meeting the educational needs of the ACEDS and larger eDiscovery communities,” said ACEDS Executive Director, Mary Mack. “The eDEx Certificate Program offers an economical, efficient way for members of our community to begin to validate their knowledge and experience.”

Cyber Monday savings begin at midnight, Nov. 26, 2018, with 30 percent off all of the ACEDS certification and training programs as well as membership. Use the code CYBER30 at checkout.
