MIAMI, Oct. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Kairos, a leader in facial recognition technology, is proud to introduce a new self-hosted version of their popular cloud based facial recognition API— designed to address the critical privacy and security needs of enterprise customers.

Kairos’ On-Premises API will allow businesses to benefit from the advantages of self-hosting their deep learning based face recognition software. Offering 100% control of privacy and security protocols— keeping critical data in-house, away from malicious third-parties and hackers.

In addition to the security and privacy imperatives, on-prem face recognition reduces the latency risks associated with running public cloud deployments. Kairos’ ultra-scalable architecture means customers can search 10 million faces in approximately the same time as 1 face— empowering large roll-outs with confidence.

“As we’ve matured as a company, so has the market, and our customers’ needs have evolved too.” said Cole Calistra, CTO of Kairos. “In response we began work earlier this year on the biggest ever project at Kairos. Taking our popular cloud service and ‘containerizing’ it, enabling businesses to install a private version of Kairos in their own datacenter or cloud account.”

The on-premises edition of Kairos provides a wide range of possibilities for fraud prevention, digital security, and identity verification across a broad variety of applications and industries, adding confidence to human-machine experiences.

“With the growing adoption of commercial face recognition technology this is a great time to address a more acute need in the market— the demand for greater accuracy, privacy, and performance aligns perfectly with the ongoing improvements to our algorithms.” added interim CEO, Melissa Doval “We will also continue to honor our commitment to removing biases in AI, by creating a truly inclusive and respectful technology.”
