Free Event to Decode Artificial Intelligence in Finance

BROOKLYN, N.Y., Oct. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — On Monday, October 15, 2018, the NYU Tandon School of Engineering’s Future Labs will host the latest event in the Focus AI series, this time delving into the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the financial industry. Starting with refreshments at 5:30 p.m., Focus AI: Finance will provide attendees with the opportunity to network with other AI professionals, learn about the hottest fintech startups using machine learning, and hear insights from the leading minds in finance and AI, including:

  • Professor Peter Carr, chair of NYU Tandon’s Finance and Risk Engineering Department
  • Venkatesh Seetharam, partner at Capital One Growth Ventures
  • Tim Delisle, co-founder and CEO of Datalogue

Artificial Intelligence, with its ability to process vast amounts of available data, has had an enormous impact on the financial industry and is likely to continue to do so. Focus AI: Finance will educate attendees on the role of technology in financial risk assessment, how startups can integrate with enterprise companies, and the keys to scaling a fintech startup.
