Insight Engines Announces Release of Enterprise Use Case Report; Increasing Efficiency and Value of Log Data

Press Releases

Oct 01, 2018

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — In conjunction with the Splunk .conf 18, Insight Engines will be announcing the release of the company’s new Use Case Report, which offers a snapshot of various log data metrics associated with an enterprise Splunk deployment. These metrics focus on key knowledge management objectives, in order to maximize the value of enterprise data in Splunk for a wide set of users.

“The Use Case Report enables organizations to refocus their machine data journey on the use cases that matter, giving them a roadmap to accelerate their utilization of their log data,” said Grant Wernick, Co-founder and CEO of Insight Engines. “The report empowers enterprises to figure out what data matters to them, what data they should purge, and what data they should onboard. Enterprises will now have visibility into their Splunk usage, data health and get a taste of what natural language questions they can ask of their data. This capability is fundamentally changing how enterprises think about their log data and increasing the value of what they choose to log.”

The new offering is powered by Insight Investigator, which uses patented natural language processing (NLP) technology so security analysts of all levels can ask questions of their machine data through English language search, instead of learning highly specialized and complex query languages. The Use Case Report is a targeted assessment, focused on the analysis of your high-value data sources and proposes practical optimizations, in order to increase the efficiency, and value of enterprise log data.

For the third consecutive year, Grant Wernick, Co-founder and CEO of Insight Engines, will be speaking at the Splunk .conf as the original natural language processing technology for Splunk.
