SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Sisense, disrupting the BI market by simplifying business analytics for complex data, today announced that it has been named to the Forbes 2018 Cloud 100. The Cloud 100 is a list of the top 100 global, private cloud companies compiled by Forbes in collaboration with Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures.

Sisense again added to the roster of top companies, which has included all the firms involved in every Cloud IPO and major acquisition since the list launched in 2016.

All of the twenty-five cloud IPOs and major cloud acquisitions over the past three years are prior members of the Cloud 100. This year’s list represents more than $135 billion in private shareholder value, according to Bessemer Venture Partners. Sisense recently closed an $80 million investment round, bringing the total amount invested to approximately $200 million, to be used to further bolster its cloud solution through investments in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

“For the past three years, the Cloud 100 list has identified the top cloud companies that are reshaping their respective industries,” said Alex Konrad, Forbes editor of The Cloud 100. “I am consistently impressed by the caliber of companies honored on the Cloud 100 list. It is an exciting time to a be a cloud company and founder.”

“We’re thrilled to once again be included in the prestigious Cloud 100 list, a mark of excellence recognized by clients, investors, and other influencers in the cloud arena,” said Amir Orad, CEO of Sisense. “Our continued recognition by Forbes demonstrates Sisense’s unrelenting commitment to innovation and customer success.”

“The way we do business will be dramatically different as a result of these companies,”  said Byron Deeter, a top cloud investor and partner at Bessemer Venture Partners. “I am honored to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of the founders and teams behind each company on the 2018 Cloud 100.”
