AUSTIN, Texas, May 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Last month, on April 17, 2018, SparkCognition’s Founder and CEO Amir Husain presented at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine for its annual private meeting. The meeting was hosted by the National Academies’ prestigious Presidents’ Circle, a selected group of leaders supporting the development of science, engineering, and medicine in energy, aerospace, and defense sectors.

This year’s meeting, titled “Intelligence: Real and Artificial,” allowed AI experts to discuss the current and future implications of AI technology, including such luminaries as Prof. Steven Pinker, the award-winning author and Johnstone Family Professor of Psychology at Harvard University. Husain presented at the meeting and led the artificial intelligence panel to address the questions and research surrounding the advancement of intelligence machines.
