SHANGHAI, March 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Recently, AiLink, an open social networking platform under the governance of AiLink Foundation in Singapore, announced the cornerstone investment. Its cornerstone investors include well-known VCs such as Ce Yuan Ventures, K2VC, Innovally, Dream Chaser Capital and Geekbeans Capital as well as Consensus Capital, Timestamp Capital, Genesis Capital, Chandler Guo and other well-known token funds and individuals. It is also partnering with Renmin University of China’s Fintech and Internet Security Research Center.

With the development of mobile Internet, social network has become the focus of major Internet giants and as well as startups. With mainstream apps such as WeChat and QQ, or apps like Momo or Tantan targeting specific user groups, their products initially attract large amount of users by meeting their communication and social needs. They enjoy high user activity and commercial value. However, there are clear drawbacks of these traditional social platforms:

  • Mainstream social network products monopolize the market leaving the users no right to choose or speak.
  • User privacy cannot be guaranteed; user data is usually analyzed and commercialized by the platforms; users are forced to receive advertisements and commercial push, which worsen user experience; the trust cost among users is also increasing.
  • Too many advertisers on the platforms and it is hard to tell which ones can be trusted.

At this moment, AiLink is offering a new solution with blockchain technology.

AiLink aims to make use of the unique de-centralization, security and privacy protection features of blockchain and a new contribution proof mechanism to encourage roles including developers, merchants and users in the entire ecosystem to jointly build and perfect each sub-ecosystem via the smart contract mechanism. It eventually delivers the value and concept of blockchain to each end user through real-world social interactions. Such a mechanism can encourage users to trust other users on AiLink and engage in meaningful social interactions to build a brand new value system for social networks.

For example: as winter vacation is coming, Li Lei plans to travel to New York. He creates an instant topic of traveling on AiLink which soon attracts a dozen people with the same plan to join. Everyone in the group actively discusses air tickets, visas, itineraries and other issues. Li Lei finally decides to travel with group members that have the same itinerary and good credit. He uses Tokens to broadcast a message on AiLink in order to find a local guide in New York. He then receives a reply from Joanna and the users who help broadcast the message all get Token rewards. Li Lei reads Joanna’s open profile and finds it is a match. Joanna happens to be free and helps to plan the whole itinerary. She also sets up a smart contract. After arriving at New York, Li Lei opens the ‘Third-party local service’ on AiLink, finds a restaurant and a hotel that accept Tokens as a payment method and leads the group there. After the trip, Li Lei confirms the itinerary has been completed and gives a good review. The smart contract automatically pays the Tokens to Joanna.

The story above is a typical AiLink social scenario. Based on the trusted network in the era of blockchain, AiLink will take a social game perspective and combine the artificial intelligence technology with users’ open data, so as to quickly match needs, establish connections and make transactions with low cost. After using Ailink, the entire social ecosystem will be more open and users can quickly find their own positions on AiLink. The connections between various roles will be strengthened, and users can easily generate mutual trust. Furthermore, information can be transmitted more efficiently on AiLink.

At this moment, AiLink will use gamified social networking as the first entry point, letting users gradually begin to understand how blockchain brings its value, attract their friends to join the game, and quickly establish connections and interact with other users on the platform. JuHuiWan, the first established application in the AiLink ecosystem, has already accumulated over 20 million users and supports hundreds of social networking games. At the same time, AiLink’s unique artificial intelligence system can capture and process users’ massive open data on the blockchain network, uniquely design computing formulas to match users and achieve the expected calculation results. The frequency that the users communicate with each other will also be utilized to compute the friendship score, in order to continuously improve the relationship between friends.

AiLink is currently registering on its pre-sale whitelist and its Telegram community has more than 90,000 users. Its tokens will be listed for trading on world’s leading exchanges in early April.
