AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Central Texas Section announces the upcoming 2018 International GreenTech Conference of Smart Cities planned for April 4-6, 2018. The event will be held at the AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center located in the city center of Austin, TX-a pioneer in the emerging smart city transformation.

The three day conference will bring together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers, academics, government officials and media to address enabling technologies, implementations and policies related to smart cities and green technology solutions. Experts will convene to collaborate and discuss innovation, technology, research, policy and IEEE standards that will enable the Smart Cities of tomorrow.  Representatives from leading companies, industry consortia, governments and top universities will participate in key notes, panel sessions, case studies and tutorial workshops including tours of Austin’s smart city initiatives.
