Bright Computing Announces Reseller Agreement with HPE for High Performance Computing and AI

DENVER, Nov. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Bright Computing, a global leader in cluster and cloud infrastructure automation software, today announced a reseller agreement for High Performance Computing and AI markets with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, (HPE), a leading Hybrid IT and Intelligent Edge technology solutions provider.

Bright’s award-winning cluster management software and its pioneering deep-learning software technology will play a key role in enabling HPE to solve their customers’ HPC and AI computing challenges in a more efficient and effective manner = with the right mix of software capabilities.

HPE announced a new set of artificial intelligence (AI) platforms and services on October 25, to help companies simplify the adoption of AI. Bright Computing is included in HPE’s Rapid Software Installation for AI offering, which is an integrated hardware and software solution that is purpose-built for high performance computing and deep learning applications. Based on the HPE Apollo 6500 system in collaboration with Bright technology to enable rapid deep learning application development, this solution includes pre-configured deep learning software frameworks, libraries, automated software updates and cluster management optimized for deep learning and supports NVIDIA® Tesla V100 GPUs.

Bright Computing and HPE are collaborating in a number of ways at Supercomputing 2017:

  • On Saturday November 11, Bright Computing will give a presentation at HP-CAST. Bright will present in the Data Analytics and Machine Learning Track, at 2.30pm, on “Using Software-Defined Compute to Create a Single Infrastructure for HPC, Big Data and Machine Learning Applications”.
  • On Wednesday November 15, HPE will present in Bright’s booth theater, at booth #937. HPE’s Leslie Tung will present on “HPE Software Portfolio for High Performance Computing” looking at HPE’s high performance computing software strategy and introducing a complete portfolio of HPC software solutions. The portfolio includes HPE-authored solutions for system and data management as well as application acceleration combined with industry leading software solutions from partners such as Bright Computing which cooperates with HPE on deep learning initiative.
  • On Thursday November 16, Bright CTO Martijn de Vries will present in HPE’s booth theater at SC17, #925, on “Bright for Deep Learning: Fast, Flexible and Production Ready”. The presentation will look at how Bright technology allows organizations to quickly and easily set up an IT infrastructure to host deep learning workload, and how Bright’s deep learning solution integrates with existing HPC and GPU technology, and bundles most popular frameworks and libraries, enabling organizations to streamline the process of gaining actionable insight from data.
