CHICAGO, Sept. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — STEMCON is excited to announce the 5th Annual STEMCON Conference, the premier STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) professional development conference to take place in Rosemont, Ill., at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare near downtown Chicago on April 20, 2018.

STEM educators, administrators and professionals from around the nation are invited to collaborate, connect and share their best practices at STEMCON.

Registration is currently open, and the Early Bird rate at $200 will close on December 31, 2017. Please contact STEMCON directly to take advantage of the group registration rate for five or more attendees from a school or district.

STEMCON will offer keynote and breakout sessions from leaders in STEM education who are experts in evidence-based STEM teaching principles. Session topics include 21st Century Skills, Thinking Forward, Project-Based Learning, STEM Education for STEM Careers, Outdoor Learning with STEM and Diversity in STEM Education.

STEMCON also invites companies to exhibit their resources and services including coding, virtual reality, 3D printing, drones, artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics. Through the vendor exhibits, attendees will be able to obtain information on resources available to STEM educators.

Four hundred STEM educators from all over the country attended the conference in 2017, and STEMCON is expecting at least 600 participants in 2018.
