Taskware and Built.io Flow Integrate to Add Human Tasks to Any Application
Press Releases
Sep 26, 2017
SAN FRANCISCO and ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Sept. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Taskware, the API to help simplify workflows, today announced an integration with Built.io‘s integration Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS), Built.io Flow. This partnership connects Taskware’s API calls for transcription, comparison, categorization, phone calls and image annotation to nearly 200 applications, including Cisco Spark, Salesforce, Asana, Box and more.
Companies can execute microtasks via Taskware’s fully managed employees, triggered via a simple API call to the Taskware platform. Built.io Flow triggered tasks are the latest addition and complement Taskware’s use cases including training machine learning algorithms to increase accuracy and decrease costs for modern organizations.
By connecting to Taskware’s API, Built.io Flow triggers a task for a human to complete after machine-driven tasks are executed, which prompts Taskware taskers to respond back programmatically with the finished task. Built.io Flow makes it easy for customers to automate tedious actions, which is why an integration with Taskware was a natural fit.
“It’s clear that the integration of human executable tasks in any workflow through applications by companies of all sizes is growing exponentially,” said Mark Oden, general manager at Taskware. “We’re constantly seeing new uses of Taskware’s API calls by our customers; the integration with Built.io Flow makes it even easier for businesses to use that don’t have extensive developer resources.”
“Taskware brings to Built.io a critical component in ensuring many diverse workflows can be executed using Built.io Flow,” said Akash Sureka, general manager for Built.io Flow. “Now, a human tasker can be queried on demand to do the work on top of machine-driven tasks, augmenting human and machine intelligence. Built.io is excited about the future of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, and partnerships like this bring us to the forefront.”
Customers taking advantage of Built.io’s workflows can use the Taskware API calls to automate a variety of tasks, including:
- Transcribe audio files and video files for closed captioning or search tagging by simply dropping the file into a shared online cloud storage folder
- Trigger a follow-up lead qualification phone call from a marketing form within minutes, with respondent data entered into a CRM system of choice
- Translate websites and blog entries to preferred languages and republish the text triggered by simply publishing the site or blog
- Embed Taskware into existing collaboration workflows to track work progress through messaging and task management applications
Taskware and Built.io will demonstrate their joint capabilities at Booth No. 102 at API World at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA, Sept. 25-27, 2017.
