Adlumin Adds Threat Intelligence Portal to Crowdsource Threat Detection

WASHINGTON, Dec. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — The newly launched Adlumin Threat Intelligence Portal (ATIP) provides powerful new capabilities to the already robust cloud-native SIEM from Adlumin, a cybersecurity company dedicated to defending corporate networks from threats, malfunctions, and IT operations failures. ATIP is a threat intelligence platform that conducts searches across numerous databases, and the world’s largest crowdsourced threat intelligence database – with additional integrations in the works.

“Integrating with our threat intelligence sources enables a collaborative defensive system through community-powered threat data,” said Adlumin CEO Robert Johnston. “With these upgrades, every Adlumin user now has access to crowdsourced threat intelligence from more than 100,000 participants in 140 countries. That adds up to millions of threat indicators daily.”

The portal automatically checks millions of dangerous Indicators of Compromise (IOC) against the IP traffic in your network, providing additional context to make informed decisions about your network’s security, based on similar threats flagged in other users’ networks. It facilitates real-time searches of individual IP address across the three threat intelligence databases, in addition to firewalls, VPN servers, and network security appliances. Users receive immediate notifications of potentially dangerous events. ATIP also allows users to share information about suspected threats with others.

The new platform builds on Adlumin’s existing line of dependable, easy-to-use network protection and breach detection software. Users can access ATIP from the main Adlumin dashboard, where clear, color-coded visualizations aid the user experience.

“ATIP was designed for ease of use. Adlumin listened to customers’ needs and worked closely with them to design this new SIEM feature to further enhance security. Users now have even greater security, visibility, and automated compliance,” said Tim Evans, Adlumin SVP, chief of strategy and co-founder.

ATIP provides financial institutions with automated threat detection at an intermediate level of security within Domain 2 of the FFIEC CAT and ACET. ATIP will automatically provide an organization automated security threat alerts without any work on the part of the protected organization. Plus, the ATIP main dashboard provides a real-time feed with articles from top cybersecurity news and information sources.

Game.tv Closes $25M Round to Bring Esports to Discord, Twitter, and Facebook

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Game.tv, the AI-powered Esports Tournament Platform, today announced the closing of its $25 million round, led by Intel Capital. Game.tv also announced the launch of its platform via Discord and tournament web app, which allows players to set up and operate tournaments directly through the Discord app, Twitter, and Facebook. The new funding, Discord bot, and web app will help grow Game.tv’s mobile gaming communities through tournament sponsorships and additional plugins, and scale the development of Game.tv’s core product, Tourney.

“In researching the emergence and growth of mobile esports, we identified Game.tv as having unique technology and business model,” said Lisa Hanson, Managing Partner at Niko Partners. “As the mobile esports segment expands, Game.tv is well positioned to build a substantial user base, scale its services, and be an important player in this space.”

While traditional sports have had the time and structure to bring players from tee-ball and little league to the MLB, or from driveway hoops to the NBA, esports are unique. Esports are played on a million different “fields,” and there is not a direct path for players to go from amateur to pro. Game.tv was founded on the belief that community-based esports is fundamental to a healthy esports ecosystem — an ecosystem that currently focuses only on professionals.

Rosen Sharma, CEO of Game.tv, said, “AI is the key. In esports today it is difficult to make money unless you are running large professional tournaments and events. Most tournaments run and make money from sponsorships, which exist only for the big events. AI doesn’t need to make money in order to host an event, thus enabling tournaments in communities at any scale so long as people are willing to participate.”

Tourney layers on top of existing gaming communities. For instance, Animal Tower Battle, a game with a vibrant community on Discord in Japan, has integrated Tourney to run weekly tournaments precisely where players spend the bulk of their time. The AI learns about the community and adapts to it. Similarly, hundreds of streamers and content creators with Discord servers have adopted Tourney to run thousands of tournaments directly in their communities. In the same way, communities on Twitter and Facebook can run tournaments natively in their respective communities using the Game.tv web app with deep links into both platforms.

Arun Chetty, Managing Director at Intel Capital, added, “When Game.tv’s platform crossed 10,000 tournaments in a short period of time, we sensed something big was going on here. As a big supporter of both esports and emerging technologies, Intel is always looking for ways to accelerate adoption of esports. We believe that Game.tv has a unique vision and technology and with this funding, they can gain a big piece of the esports market segment.”

About Game.tv

Game.tv is an AI-based esports tournament platform headquartered in Silicon Valley with a team across 20+ countries including Korea and Japan. Game.tv is led by gamers with strong track records of building mobile games and growing the mobile esports fan and player base. The company’s core product is Tourney, an AI-powered esports assistant that can run tournaments from start to finish. Game.tv was founded in 2018 and is backed by blue chip investors and partners around the world, including Intel Capital. Tourney is currently available for over 60 games, and more games are being added weekly. For more information, visit https://www.game.tv/.

Lytx Announces Name Change for its Compliance Services Offerings and Support for ELD Mandate

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Lytx®, a leading global provider of machine vision and artificial intelligence-powered video telematics solutions for commercial, public sector and field services fleets, today announced the renaming of its RAIR® Compliance Services offering to Lytx® Compliance Services.

Lytx Compliance Services

This shift reflects the company’s broader commitment and expertise in providing the all-in-one innovations needed to continue shaping the future of video telematics through solutions that span driver safety, fleet tracking and an industry-leading suite of web-based safety and regulatory compliance offerings.

“As a one-stop video telematics leader with an unparalleled blend of services and cutting-edge technologies, Lytx’s benefits expand far beyond video,” said David Thawley, Lytx’s EVP and GM for mid-market, small and Lytx Compliance Services. “Lytx provides its customers with versatile and converged solutions for all of their fleet safety, operational efficiency and compliance management needs. It’s what separates us from the competition.”

ELD Mandate

In addition to streamlining documentation management, Lytx Compliance Services help fleets comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) electronic logging device (ELD) mandate, which goes into effect Dec. 16, 2019.

What is Lytx Compliance Services?

Founded in 2001 and acquired by Lytx in 2011, RAIR (now Lytx Compliance Services) is designed for fleets regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) in need of an efficient way to manage ELD data, driver qualification files and Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) scores. Through this offering, Lytx provides compliance services to more than half of the top 100 for-hire carriers in the U.S., with 10 million logs audited every month. It’s the largest log auditor in the industry and the first company to provide an integrated solution that consolidates paper logs, time records and ELD data.

Because Lytx Compliance Services offers information such as hours-of-service (HOS) logs, driver qualification file auditing, vehicle inspection reporting, vehicle files, and CSA scores analysis in a single dashboard, clients can efficiently identify risk and compile compliance reports. The solution integrates with more than 20 different industry-leading ELD providers and aggregates data to help safety managers – who are often inundated with data and email alerts – easily identify risks and trends by drivers and locations across their fleet.

The solution also consumes data from fuel vendors, roadside inspections and many other sources to allow carriers to match 100% of their supporting documents, ensuring they’re able to provide the up to eight supporting documents per driver, per day mandated by FMCSA.

It’s a “game changer”

In a recent survey of clients currently using Lytx Compliance Services, the majority said the service has helped them make managing ELD data and compliance easier, save time and money and reduce HOS violations. Its ability to proactively spot risks has provided additional value to clients, making it a perfect complement to the Lytx Driver Safety Program.

Lee Robledo, vice president of safety and loss control at NFI Industries, described the service as “a game changer which has continued to improve as the landscape of regulations has changed.” He continued: “Companies would be doing themselves a disservice if they didn’t at least pilot the program in their fleet to understand the safety benefits it could bring to their operation.”

The new name is effective immediately and will be implemented across Lytx in the coming months. Clients who use Lytx Compliance Services will continue to have access to the services they depend on to keep their employees and assets safe and compliant.

  • Content Filter: To reduce the search time and find only the most relevant images, PhotoEye filters and flags any sensitive media, with a machine learning-based engine that is eight times more accurate at filtering potentially offensive content, including nudity, substance abuse and violence, than other detection tools, such as Google Vision. PhotoEye provides a 61% match as opposed to only a 20% match by Google vision, as tested by our editors and AI engineers.
  • Copyright and Logo Detection: To avoid copyright infringement, PhotoEye will also detect and copyrighted logos or brands that appear in photos or videos, no matter the scale.
  • Model Release Count: PhotoEye AI will organize and optimize model-filtered searches by associating model releases and detecting people in your visual content.
  • Keywords and Categories: This tool has also learned from billions of images and keywords, providing automatic keyword suggestions to tag your content quickly and efficiently, saving time and improving your library and SEO.
  • Privacy: PhotoEye was developed with user privacy top of mind. All content filtered through PhotoEye is for PhotoEye only; images and videos are evaluated and optimized through an objective lens as any information collected by the tool is anonymized and not traceable – while PhotoEye is fed by user data it will never be traced back to an individual user.
