WASHINGTON, July 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — The government-focused accelerator Dcode42 announced it is accepting applications for a new program designed to change the way government builds technology. This summer, Dcode42 will accept 6-10 companies with Developer Tool and Platform solutions for a three month program to increase the speed of adoption of these emerging technologies inside the government. The new program is opening on the heels of Dcode42’s A.I and Machine Learning program, in which seven companies with a combined $63M in venture capital funding will graduate.

Core to this transformation is incorporating developer tools into government. As example, the General Services Administration recently authorized the first fully open-sourced platform-as-a-service that supports agencies’ development and maintenance of websites and applications. When government agencies take advantage of the latest technology, they can provide better services and make better use of our tax dollars.

During Dcode42’s selective three month program, accepted companies have access to an expert-led curriculum, strategic planning, and guidance for entering the federal market. The program also includes meetings with federal agencies and numerous industry experts which guide participants through the maze of the federal government.
